[Watchmen] Season Finale - S01E09 - "See How They Fly" - Discussion Thread (SPOILERS)

I thoroughly enjoyed the season and I liked the finale. I think Lindelof and the crew mostly stuck the landing but there's something off about the season finale that I can't quite put my finger on.

I sincerely hope that this was the only season unless Lindelof truly has a great idea for a second season, because this was easily one of my favorite seasons of a television show ever (maybe my favorite of all time) and I hope no one tries to mar its legacy with a cash grab second season (although I do wish everyone on the cast and crew success in their careers going forth because they earned it - special shout out to Regina King).

Check the show out if you haven't, it can be confusing for those who haven't read the original graphic novel or movie (I would recommend the novel as a primer, the move is ok) but the show will ease any confusion around the six episode mark.
