I'm originally from Jacksonville, so my exposure to Tampa and Miami is fairly limited. I've been to Miami and Tampa about 5 or 6 times.

I really like big cities since I have experience living in Chicago and London. I feel like Tampa is kind of like Jacksonville where they are both emerging cities, but I prefer something already developed and established. I also kind of want to spend the rest of my 20's in a big and active city, so I think Miami can be fun while I'm young.

I'm actually visiting Tampa later this month for my best friend's birthday, so I might be changing my mind with what I've said above. I haven't been there in about 6 years, so pretty excited to see the changes.
