Water Cooler Wednesday

Interviewing for a new position tomorrow at 7:30 with a firm that, by all accounts, seems to want to hire me away at a reasonable raise. Very conflicted, because my current company has been overwhelmingly flexible and kind about working around both mental and physical health problems I had as a relatively new hire and we're in a phase with our projects where me leaving would significantly overload my department. But on the other hand, payroll is behind by two paychecks now, and despite our impending acquisition into a group of businesses that will have the payroll running smoothly in the short term again, there are obvious cash flow and leadership issues that will take a while to resolve.

The logical part of my brain knows what I need to do if I get this offer, but I still feel like I'm turning my back on a group of people that I really like and who helped me out when I was in need. I don't know. It's tough.
