The truthof the modern Anti-Vaxx movement is even worse than your conspiracy...The modern Anti-Vaxx movement gained prominence by an actual British Doctor who published his findings linking it to the rise of Autism in children the early-mid 2000's. (the whole "Mercury" thing)

He targeted vulnerable parents of disable children & gave them a possible reason why their child was disable. He capitalized on their rage for fame & fortune, knowing that he falsified his data and was flat out lying.

When said Doctor's methods were shown to be dubious & flat out wrong: well it's hard to get the genie back in the bottle.

In another 30 years they'll be another reason to not vaccinate. Just like we've seen throughout our history.
