The way we discuss OPP as a community over-simplifies a complex situation.

I mean, you don't get it and that's my fault for not clarifying...I'm the girlfriend in this scenario. I'm the one with the trauma. He's not the one who set the standard, I am.

It's also not a permanent standard.

As for examples, this thread is already full of a few wherein my decision to only allow one penis inside me at this time is viewed as mysoginistic control simply due to a lack of understanding. I think the assumption that I am a controlling male highlights and removes the female's autonomy. (Mine, in this case).

That said, someone else helped me grasp something I hadn't previously in that what I have isn't, technically, a OPP - I'm just working with limited language.
