I've been living with my current housemates for almost a year. I'm female and currently in a relationship with a guy.
In the past year with my housemates, I've:
introduced them to things in lgbtq+ culture like famous TV shows and fun music
absent mindedly mention how hot I think people of various genders are when we're watching TV shows together
told them a funny / awkward anecdote about a girl I met and had a crush on at a night club
had many conversations about dating and sex with both men and women (including strap-on preferences)
Etc.
Last week we were taking about a celebrity and I mentioned I think she's hot.
One of my housemates comments in a joking way:
"from what you said, that indicates to me that you have a sexual attraction to women?!!?"
Me: "when have I ever said that I'm not attracted to women?"
Her: "OMG OMG DID YOU JUST COME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
