Ways to determine if home network is properly configured?

Lol I don't mean in terms of connectivity.

All devices connected to their respective Vlans are acquiring their respective IP addresses.

Devices from the IoT network, home network, and camera network cannot communicate with any other device within the RFC1918 IP range nor are they allowed access to other gateways or ports. So inter-vlan communication is properly configured.

I suppose the title is pretty much a generalization. But with the "complexities" of Vlans, different devices, configurations, firewall rules, NAS using VPN, etc... I guess I'm just wondering if I have everything configured properly lol. But I don't think there's a way to test it out without having someone much more knowledgeable than myself to actually inspect it lol.

At the moment, I'm wondering if the default settings on a switch port are okay to use when connecting something like a Hue or NAS. Or if certain settings should be turned on or off.
