It's a beautiful place. I remember traveling there from Gatwick on Ryan Air. It was slightly delayed coming to Gatwick and we had to rush from wherever we were waiting to whichever gate the plane finally arrived at. Later when we were already in the air over Ireland, the pilot was on the intercom and he said "ladies and gentlemen, we're at 20,000 feet. We will be landing in 10 minutes".
I thought to myself, that seems a bit quick. The plane then proceeded to bank sharply and go into an almost dive-bomb. And true enough ten minutes later it was on the runway. It was still going pretty fast along the runway and I thought to myself, how is it going to slow down?
I kid you not, the pilot just turned the plane in a way that felt like it slowed down the way ice skaters do.
That was a crazy plane ride. What are the pilots on?
