WCGW installing a new bike lane

Elio is the only stock I’ve ever shorted. In its early days there was so much hype. So many redditors put down deposits.

But the timing was all wrong. It’s main benefit was high fuel economy in a time of low gas prices.

It claimed to be super safe but as a 3 wheeler it was exempt from safety regs. That classification also meant in many states you’d be required to wear a helmet while operating it.

It was supposed to be ultra low priced but they were going to make it in the US with its high labor costs. And instead of licensing a proven engine they insisted on designing their own.

It was misguided from the start and hilariously mismanaged as well.
