How did the kids not see the driver? Easily, one faced away, the other was focused on the camera/trick. If it was an insurance scam then why did the video person ask if the driver was okay? They weren’t immediately verbally harassing the guy but checking in on him. But here’s the thing, they weren’t directly in the lane of traffic. They were in a buffer lane. If their goal was to obtain money then why didn’t they dart out to one of the vehicles driving by? They didn’t think that anyone would be that bad of a driver to drive in the buffer lane. Counting on a dumbass to drive through a buffer lane is much less likely then simply bolting into traffic. Also there are much better places such as those with stop signs and in residential areas with blind spots and low speeds. That’s usually how scams are done and proven so by video recordings. If this was evidence for a scam it would be used against them and not for them.

While you make shit up, my claim is based on evidence provided in the video. You cannot provide a genuine reason why he was driving straight in a buffer lane. He was not drifting. So he wasn’t distracted. His vehicle ended still in the lane. So he kept a straight course despite hitting the breaks. There was no deviation from his path.
