weakling looking for help with Push ups

Oh that’s an interesting idea!

Wall pushups are a good way to get started, or against a counter, or on your knees!

Also, while I don’t think there’s a terrific correlation between lifting weights and the capacity to do push-ups, there is some correlation. Maybe try doing some light bench presses!

Pushups are weird. Different things work for different people, just keep trying and see what works!

All that being said, while pushups are a terrific exercise, they’re not the be all and end all. The important thing is just saying active. If you can’t or don’t like to do pushups, it’s no biggie. It doesn’t hurt to get some upper body strength, but it’s also ok to just do the physical activity you enjoy!
