my grandmother died on friday and this week has been awful. my husband's grandmother is sick (she had a severe medical episode but is being released home) and he's talking about flying up to be with his whole family on friday -- my grandma's services are thursday -- and i am trying really hard not to be mad at him about it but this really feels like one of those times he's supposed to be prioritizing me. his grandmother is not in any immediate risk and it really sounds like he's just bummed at the idea of all his family being together without him but doesn't seem to understand he's my family and he'll be leaving me alone the day after my grandma's wake.
