Week 6 Morning-After Thread: Bears vs. Commanders

You make great points and are right about how the play works and should be run on paper or against perfect defense but this one is on fields

in a game situations...things change .. o. This play Fields sees griffin and realizes he's beaten their coverage...he throws the ball like he has in practice or how the play is drawn up per your video explanation. To me looks like the ball needed more loft. Here's why....at 4:23 in your video you can see fields looks at griffin ...also has enough time to see griffin is a little behind on timing and should add more air...instead of a 2 ball maybe a 2.2 or 2.4...as your qb coach shows in the video...instead fields sticks with a 1.7 or 1.9 throw and misses the throw

A better quarterback would recognize griffin was a little late and add more air to throw. Better teams, better qbs, and better coaches practice as many scenarios as possible on this play to help qbs with timing

Looks to me they haven't practiced this play enough
