This Week’s CoE - Count Your Bullets

Thought I would share some solo tips for people who want to go that route, its easy to get 40k plus this week with the precision kill bonus.

Titan - I went defender with blessings of light to get out of sticky situations. Used bad juju for infinite ammo and twilight garrison for added survivability. Used a heavy sniper for boss damage and a solar rocket launcher for wizards. Was able to get 47k.

Warlock - went stormcaller but sunsinger self rez and shield melee is probably a better choice. A helpfull perk was pulsewave to get out of near death situations. Same loadout with bad juju/heavy sniper/solar rocket launcher. Got 44k with this.

Hunter - didn't solo yet but will use either blade dancer for invisibility perks or nightstalker for invisibility grenade. I like to use khepri's sting. Same loadout with bad juju, heavy sniper, solar rocket launcher.

General tips for any class

  1. Save your super for emergencies only
  2. Try not to reload the bad juju except for a break in combat, you should be able to chain auto reloads easily but out of habit I would always want to reload early.
  3. Keep moving/strafing when firing at all times.

Level strategies

  1. Hive - I stayed right at the starting cave/gate area. Killed enemies on right immediately, then killed wizards with rockets, then everything else. Then snipe the boss until adds come and repeat.

  2. Fallen - I was more mobile here, alternating between the two outside corners. I didn't worry about the bosses bombs, just keep moving while supressed. Vandals will pop bubble shields often, so shift your focus elsewhere while waiting for them to go down. Snipe the boss to chain stagger him when adds are down and repeat.

  3. Vex - Stayed in one spot the whole time, right as you enter take a right and camp out at the first door behind the wall, as the first enemies will come from there every round. From here you have an angle on all enemies, they will come to you, while avoiding being spotted and trapped by the boss. Depending how confident you are with the juju, you can let enemies get closer for precision shots since they move slowly, just be careful not to be overrun. Once adds are down, snipe the boss through the hole in the wall to the left of the wall you are hiding behind. Many of his shots will hit the wall while you can shoot safely. Repeat
