This Week in WTF: April 9-15

Well generally speaking I don’t consider it my role to validate someone with a mental illness. I don’t go on someone like Bridget Brinks Instagram and make comments about her body.

Would you honestly say it’s the same experience to feel fat while actually fat vs feeling fat while actually slim? Like, if I feel like I’m smelly and it’s in my head and I’m worried about it, that sucks, but strangers probably still sit next to me on the bus. If I feel like I’m smelly and I’m actually smelly I get the worry but also the associated negative societal consequences that come with being smelly. Right? I’m not saying my experience is universal but I also don’t really see why if you feel you are (negative thing) but aren’t actually (negative thing) that’s the same as feeling you are (negative thing) and being RIGHT...
