I don't necessarily agree. Clean eating is a key to getting fit. You can work out all you want to, but if you don't eat well, you won't see results. It sounds like she's the one who got obsessive with counting macros, etc. I didn't read it as her trainer was advising her to take it that far. I don't think eating clean is an invitation to disordered eating, unless you have an issue with disordered eating. I eat clean, for multiple reasons - I feel better, it calms my digestive issues, and I see way more results, and it's just healthier.

I am more side-eyeing her trainer for making her weigh in and measuring her constantly, when she clearly was struggling with those numbers. I don't think he should be so focused on the numbers...especially when it's clearly triggering for her. My trainer has always told me not to pay attention to the number on the scale. I honestly hardly ever weigh myself. That's more of the red flag there for me.
