Does anyone follow The Art in Life? She had a post this week that really made me sad. In it, she self-flagellates so hard: "It is so natural and normal to be a grumpy, tired, frazzled, harsh mom in seasons like this. It is also unacceptable." and "[Kids] can’t control their actions and emotions all the time, but I can. I should, I must. ... As always, the secret in parenting funks like this is to lean in. To love harder, play more, give give give when you feel so empty."

Uhh, it is? I don't have kids yet, but I'm pretty sure that sometimes you gotta lean out, take care of yourself, and maybe ask your husband to step up.
