The American Psychological Association is considering the addition of a new pathology to its Dictionary of Psychology. "Bag holding", or the detrimental belief that a stock will return to its former price and beyond, has now ruined millions of lives thanks to stocks like GME, AMC, BBBY, WISH, and CLOV. These so called "meme stocks", bag held by the mentally challenged, have turned bad investing into a newly classified mental disorder, which is now affecting legions of users from the web site "Reddit". The hope is that by finally acknowledging that this is a real disease, those affected can get the help they need. Unfortunately, the affected often behave in a manner not unlike a paranoid schizophrenic, and any attempt to convince them of their disorder is met with accusations that everyone around them is a "hedgie shill".
