A bit drunk, something made me think of this:

I took singing lessons once at a community college course. I never sang before, except in the car rocking out. But damnit, I wanted to.

So I go in the class, a fairly large auditorium. And the teacher has everyone come up to the piano so he can find our key.

I swear, every student was a fucking Disney princess. Just hitting all the notes, vibrato, perfect tone, woman and man alike. I entered Community College Musical.

So finally he calls me up. I'm so shy and nervous, and don't even know what to do. So he hits a key on the piano, and I copy it like "uhhhh" then "uhhh" each sound more embarrassed and worse than the last.

When the torture was over, he straight up says, "So you have a one note key! That's very rare." I fucking died.

Walked outside down the stairs quickly after, dropped the class, and am now wondering why this memory came up like a decade later.
