Weekly - What Car Should I Buy Megathread

I had one for 5 years.

How is it like on the road as a daily driver?

There's a difference between a car as an "only car" and a car as a "daily driver". The car is perfectly adequate as a only car, but it sucks as a daily driver. The sound system sucks, the ride is harsh and crashy, and you feel like you have no power due to the engine being a high revving one, meaning you have to keep it high in the RPM range which is not ideal in daily conditions.

it needs to be an Automatic.

Literally just go buy something else. Get a GTI instead if you want a fun car with a sporty automatic. Not does an automatic pretty much defeat the only saving grace of the car, it's not even a good automatic. It exacerbates how slow it is with long gearing.

Also, as a final word of advice, look for a 2015+ model year to avoid ones with the throw out bearing issue and the valve spring issue.
