Weekly Complaint Thread - 13 August 2015

A bit late, a bit long, but... A good male friend of mine (who I also have feelings for) finished his job hunting recently, I went to go meet him for the first time in months recently and even baked him cookies as a way of saying congratulations. Not only did he seem different when I met him (a bit distant, aloof) but he also kept checking his phone every few minutes.. It turns out his senpais from high school and university are in town (and were in Yokohama) and since they helped out with his job hunting/networking/etc he had to go meet them.. He said it would only take him an hour.. And he would be back (I didn't mind waiting.. Hello tsutaya electrics at futako-tamagawa and their massive magazine collection) but when he left he didn't take the bag with the cookies I'd baked for him with him.. soon after leaving he apologized and said he was so sorry for leaving and would be back soon..

Then I just got gradually more and more hurt for what he had done.. And couldn't sit still, so I had to get up and go for some fresh air.. Then an hour later he texted me saying he still couldn't talk to his senpai for whatever reason and believed it would take more time.. But then asked if I was free tomorrow or the day after because he wanted to come to my neighborhood and apologize in person.. By then I lost it and started crying and just messaged him asking him 'what about the cookies?' And he asked if he could receive them that day.. And apologized again.. (本当にごめん) Then I angrily told him 'I'd rather hear him say 'ごめんなさい' and he just said 'ごめんなさい' A few hours later at 2am... I get another message saying he was extremely sorry...

....I really don't feel like talking to him.. I just want to erase the memory of being abandoned for a job-hunting assisting senpai.. Last time I baked cookies for someone was for an ex and he openly told me that he didn't like them. I don't know what to do with them..
