Their argument is always that those are things people CHOOSE to do , But someone else can end up infecting you with CV and they don’t have a right to do that and it’s not something you choose.

Using the flu as an example works the best IMO because people don’t lock themselves up every flu season or accuse others of having blood on their hands if they did non-essential stuff even though the flu kills. Yeah, there’s a vaccine, but it’s not a very good one and I bet so many of these people don’t even get the yearly vaccine. None of them seem to give a shit about possibly infecting grandma and gramps or little babies and kids every thanksgiving and Christmas gathering for whatever reason.

Of course as soon as you use the flu as an example they just scream “THIS ISNT THE FLU”.
