Radiohead - Decks Dark
Unfortunately, or fortunately, the universe doesn't own anyone anything.
The world doesn't own us anything.
We have this notion that living in society should correspond to the beautiful ideas we thought. Equality. Justice. Maybe one day. But not today. We definitely are witness of destruction, of the inequality that's present in nature and in the universe. Also, some acts of kindness, and those always makes me emotional. Gives you hope, I guess. It certainly makes me stronger, and that's all I can ask for to keep going. And to find strength in destruction, in anger, in rage, in sadness, in death and in reflection. Strength to keep going and not be bitter, not drown in madness and not kill myself and others. To behave as human, I guess, is to deny we are just like animals. Or to accept it and strive in the moment, fully knowing that, if not us, something will wipe us out. We are, after all, just another phenomena. Maybe the universe is conscious, and it asks itself what is all of this, just like we do as manifestation of the thing itself. But i digress.
