Som, this whole thread on worldnews is hilarious. It's just a solid wall of removed comments. Most of them go like this:

She weren't wrong. If a politician makes a decision that kills a large portion of their population, should they not be held accountable beyond just losing the next election? (+71)

When people started dying from climate change en masse, the people responsible should be held accountable. (+96)

I agreed with her original statement (+554)

I guess it's not palatable to the public relations industry when the public broadly understands moral consistency. Like, if hanging Nazis for genocide at the Nuremberg trials was justified – and few would argue that it wasn't – then why wouldn't the genocide-squared of terminating the whole goddamn species through lies and deliberate policy choices deserve any less?
