Weekly Game Recommendation Thread - January 29, 2019

What are you looking for?

Something with very strong PvE content and "power level" progression throughout leveling and end-game that both allows and rewards grinding and actually playing the game.

Good movement and combat is also a must, i just can't put hours into a game if just moving around and hitting things feels clunky and awkward.

What games have you previously played?

World of Warcraft pretty much ever since late BC has been my MMO and i've played it on and off throughout every new expansion. I love alot of things about WoW and it has the framework to be the perfect MMO for me(and it certainly was close during some expansions) but the current state of the game isn't very good imo.

Wildstar: I got level cap in Wildstar when it came out on steam, i have to say i'm quite sad its gone as i honestly enjoyed it.

If it was still up and had a playerbase i probably would have gone back and tried to give the end game a shot :/

Maplestory 2: Got level cap on 2 characters but honestly i don't even know why. The combat combined with the movement feels absolutely horrendous and the dungeon bosses were just incredible health sponges that you just had to hack away at for ages.

The only redeeming thing about the game for me was playing music and fishing lol

In regards to bosses though, i never got into hard dungeons or chaos raids so i don't know if the uninteresting boss design changes there but i doubt the horrible combat would change.

What is your playstyle (Casual,Semi-Casual,Hardcore)?

Semi-casual to Semi-Hardcore, it definitely changes now and then but i do want to do endgame PvE content.

Any preferred mechanics?

Nothing really, in terms of combat systems i'm more used to tab targeting but another type of combat system wouldn't put me off of trying a game as long as the game is still good.

F2P(no pay2win obviously) or ONE TIME PURCHASE(expansions are still fine)
