Weekly Game Recommendation Thread - April 28, 2020

Anything like old school runescape you'd recommend?

I've played since the 5th grade and it's getting a little worn out finally... being in my late 20's now.

I like how you can really customize your account. You can be balanced, an attack pure, defense pure, or a skiller.

One of my favorite parts of the game is that its stop and go. You could kill a boss in 3 minutes log out, eat dinner, and get back on. All of the end game content they have added over the last few years has really gotten raid like where you have to dedicate time to find a team, make sure they are trust worthy for that matter, keep in contact frequently to keep them reliable(And vice versa), and you pretty much can't log on to do this content without dedicating 2-3 hours minimum. After a day of work this sometimes just sounds awful.

Like wise, I like that there are AFK skills that can benefit your account, pretty much for the reason above. If I can't dedicate a ton of time(Cooking/ Working from home atm due to this virus, ETC) , it's sometimes nice to be able to afk fish, smith, woodcut, etc only requiring clicks every few minutes or so. But simultaneously, If you are feeling all in there is plenty of attentive click intensive content between Bossing and PVP.

I also really like the bank system, you can hold 800+ items which is enough for mostly everything you really need in the game, but you can only go about the world with your limited 28 inventory slot.

Between raids being end game now, there being an in game gambling system that I've abused many times and lost bank, and the gamje just being a bit old and unrelatable to almost everyone irl I'm just looking for something a little fresher to try.

Despite the stigma the game seems to have, I've loved it for years and never found anything that could quite keep my attention in the same way.

Open to any suggestions, preferably no mtx and 1 time purchase w/ maybe monthly membership less than $20.
