Hi r/Surface! I'm a happy owner of the original Surface Book, but due to the infamous battery issue where heat causes the tablet battery to disconnect, I'm unable to pop the top off and use it as a tablet without it dying immediately. I've thinking about getting a Surface Go 2 essentially just for writing and notetaking (in OneNote, primarily) while leaving all the heavy lifting to my Surface Book. Can anyone weigh in on whether the Sufrace Go 2's lower end Intel Pentium configuration would run smoothly for inking in basic Office apps like OneNote? I'm able to cough up the extra few hundred for the Core M3 model if necessary, but at that point the price is comparable to the low end Surface Pro 7...
