Weekly Monday Marriage App Thread!

I think the problem arises with generations being impacted by different cultures, I don't know about everyone else but I can speak about my family specifically. We're bengali and all they want is for us to marry another bengali, which is fine to a certain extent but that should not be the defining factor as to whether our children can marry someone or not.

Now onto the next part of the same problem, again within my family, it's very difficult to EXPLAIN to my parents that it's OK to marry someone from a different ethnicity. They're from a culture where it feels like they were close to worshipping their own parents, and they want the same from us. However I'm not here to worship anyone but Allah. Don't get me wrong I love my parents and will do anything for them. But they need to also learn to accept change.
