Weekly Newbie Thread - Post questions about joining the AF or what a job is like here & here only - week of September 17

I obviously understand there's an age limit, just like there are limits for a lot of things in the military, which is why there are also waivers for those limits. Maybe I didn't communicate it clearly enough, but I was wondering if getting that age waiver would be easier since I'm just over the 28.5 y/o age limit vs. someone who is 4 years over or something like that. And as for "Why me?' over someone who doesn't need a waiver... Good prior service record and will have my PPL soon. Good PT/testing scores, but that's the norm for everyone I imagine. I may be missing something though so I'm always open to suggestions about what they are seeking.
