Weekly Newbie Thread - Post questions about joining the AF or what a job is like here & here only - week of December 24

I hope this is the right place to post this. If I am breaking any rules, by all means, delete this.
OK, so my husband is thinking of trying this out again. He tried to join the AF back in 2014 but got sent home bcus he didn't pass PT. Before leaving for basic he was nowhere near fit but his recruiter said "no, you don't need to be fit, they will help you in there. don't worry about not being able to hit any of the marks". We were young and naive and didn't think to do our homework so there he went, unfit as f*ck. He doesn't even remember what job he was going in for due to our lack of preparation and the recruiter being kind distant. (We couldn't go to another recruiter as he was the only one in our valley). My husband got a perfect score on the ASVAB and was pretty stoked but once he came back he pretty much lost all his confidence.
Well, fast forward to now, after meeting up with some friends stationed at Randolph, he wants to try going back. (but this time prepared lol, which is why I am here). I guess my questions would be more along the lines of jobs and what not. He can practice the PT stuff and get that down but we are clueless on jobs. He wants to go in for something having to do with IT or mathematical stuff; anything having to do with computers really (that's his passion; ins and out of technology). Are you able to give any insight on a job he might want to look out for having to do with those interests? I'm sorry if I sound stupid, just trying my best here for him.
