Weekly Newbie Thread - Post questions about joining the AF or what a job is like here & here only - week of September 16

I'm currently in the process of filling out my application and wanted to ask ya'll some questions.

About me: I am Pakistani-American, 6 ft and 165 lbs, Athletic, Bilingual, Electrical Engineering senior.

I am interested in becoming a technical officer. I am not sure which career path to go for. Do you guys have any recommendations ? Or any career I should avoid?

I am fluent in English, but I'm not a native speaker. I was born in the US but I did my entire high school in Pakistan. Will this affect my chances of getting picked? And well if I do get picked, will I be "accepted" or just be some outsider.

I am pretty conflicted as I fill out my initial application. Any advice from you guys would be much appreciated.
