I plan on going to the recruiter tomorrow and asking about 3D0X4. This AFSC really interests me but most of the stuff I read on here is that I probably won't get to code, but do like server maintenance and and stuff like that. I also read that programming is being given to contractors more and more and this AFSC is gonna get phased out.

If this is true, am I better off choosing a different job I will actually do? To those that are 3D0X4, do you still have adequate opportunities to use your skills, whether it be on side projects or maybe helping out your peers that are programming? If you answer any/all of these questions, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
