So a couple years ago I got my RPAL without any serious intentions on buying a restricted gun, but with current events I figured now might be the last chance to own a handgun. So my real question is whether I have to prove I’m a member of an approved gun club? I remember from the course that really the only 2 reasons for purchasing a RF is for target practice at an approved range or for being part of a collection, but I think I remember that for the collection you have to be a registered firearms collector. I honestly don’t have any plans of shooting the thing, I just want it because I have the license and I’m not sure if I’ll get another chance to use it. I’m just worried that if I put target practice on the registration without actually being a member, am I going to a call or letter saying “hey get your club to send us some info to prove you aren’t trying to hide a weapon” I’m in Ont btw
