Weekly Politics Thread

Yes, I do understand that my own situation and experiences do shape my opinions, and I do try to catch when I fall too much into my own world without taking a broader point of view. I totally understand. I love to have debates with people because even though I may have my opinion, I still understand where they come from and I tend to think about it while I work which may in turn alter my opinion some. I get why firearms can be seen as bad, as I use to be of the view that we don't need them, but the more I got into them, the more I understood. I still remember my original opinion, but it's been shaped from seeing the other point of view. I use to also be very liberal, but that changed too, I am a pretty center conservative now as I heard the other side and made my own opinion on what's right or wrong or what needs attention or what has too much attention. We as a society will always have different opinions and the thing about democracy is that we vote based on what suits us or what is most important to us and our values
