Morning y'all, I'm fixing to go to army basic in the summer with the intent of going reserves as a 68C. During basic training, if I excel at every part of it, is it possible that I can be recommended to get a contract change? I originally thought of going 68W option 40 as I find it to be honorable to serve as a Ranger, however the thought of failing RASP and disappointing those back home would devastate me. This isn't what I'm hoping for, nor am I saying I don't want 68C, but I have never been placed in high-stress situations and would not know how I would handle that kind of environment. Is a contract change unheard of during basic training?
