It depends on the lufenia. Most of my use of Yang was with an enchantment call which was used to increase the orb. Yang is so great at this because he follow ups with an aoe after each attack made by the rest of the party. Trap characters and also up tick the orbs but the return usually isn't as great since traps require the enemy to take a turn. So you would get +1 for the element/whatever but -2 because the enemy took a turn. This results in -1 on the orb so you'd just be slowing it unless multiple traps were triggering or the hit was worth +5 or +10 which we sometimes see. With Yang or soon CoD's BT effect you will up tick the orb and denying the enemy turns with most set ups countering the -1 for each turn you take resulting in the orb not ticking down so long as the enchantment is in place.
