Hello, my fellow readers. I got Ourai no Gahkthun and marathoned it up to chapter 4 (taking a break since my eyes hurt like hell and I got uni work for tomorrow so heh).

I have a question regarding the beginning chapters. I don't mind at all if you have to dabble in spoiler territory to answer this inquiry.

(spoiler)(/s "In the beginning, when she got sold to the Governing Council and her now-former owner tried to rape her, the first choice comes up and Tesla's narration starts after picking "Scream and Cry" (The "correct" choice). Immediately after this scene, some time passes and it's morning. Neon tries to remember what happened after the former owner tried to assault her but it's all a big blank for her. Then after seeing the Bell for the first time, she then woke up in Tesla's mansion and he said he bought her last night.

Sorry for the pseudo-summary, but I want to ask if Tesla was the one who rescued her from the former owner? While Tesla does warn Neon in their first meeting to "never go near that restaurant again" and called the owner "a boor of a man" like he was there (also, Tesla's narration after picking the first choice implies that she was indeed saved by someone), Neon says that she was rescued by Tesla two times (April 16th and later on) but no mention of the rape attempt incident. Immediately after the incident, she tried to remember what happened after the owner grabbed her arm but after that, it's all a big blank for her. Also, was Tesla the one who brought her back to her dorm? I know he brought her to his mansion but before that, who brought her back to the dorm is what I want to know as well.

The only mention I heard was that she literally said Tesla saved her from her previous owner, but I thought she meant that in a more broad manner (as in, saved from slavery in general). Though I probably missed some details, I don't want to lose momentum on my reading and go back.")
