Weekly /r/bangtan Room (방탄방) - August 29, 2020

Well the Wings album had a theme of temptation and coming of age, so in Blood Sweat and Tears there's a kiss between Jin and an androgynous winged statue intercut with scenes of Tae as a fallen angel. MAMA 2016 kicked this theme up to full gear by this bridge between Blood Sweat and Tears and Fire that seems pretty on the nose about implying a devil-innocent seduction.

What Em above me said was that they seemed very clingy that day, hugging and whispering to each other, and she thinks it might be to do with reconciling from Tae being disrespectful to Jin (a clip that has actually been edited away by BH).

While I think that we're coming up against a blind spot in the fandom, which is that BTS is not above queerbait - whether as fanservice or as part of the storyline... And because it is that particular event, I'm not sure we can draw conclusions about how Tae and Jin normally interact because it is not a very usual day given the performance and of course, BTS first Daesang win there!
