One of the positions available is ‘Measurement While Drilling Electronics Developer’. The anticipated start date can be as early as January 1st 2016. Position Title: Measurement While Drilling (MWD) Electronics Developer Skills Required: - Analog and digital circuits schematic developing; - Schematics and PCBs layout in Altium; - Select components and verify parameters required in applications; - Assemble prototype boards; - Select the best microcontroller architecture depend on required applications; - Knowledge in C embedded programming; - Free to use any communication protocols; - Develop test equipment to test components, modules, devices; - Prepare efficient manufacture documentation; - Knowledge in simulation software: LabView, MATLAB, etc. Job Duties:  Confirms project requirements by reviewing program objective, input data, and output requirements with analyst, supervisor, and client.  Arranges project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic.  Encodes project requirements by converting work flow information into computer language.  Confirms program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes.  Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions.  Maintains historical records by documenting program development and revisions.  Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.  Ensures operation of equipment by following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.  Prepares system software installation by studying software capabilities and operations, including task scheduling, memory management, file system, and input and output requirements.  Installs system software by loading software into computer.  Detects work stoppage or errors by conducting tests; monitoring output.  Corrects work stoppages or errors by entering code changes.  Optimizes system efficiency by analyzing performance indicators; changing software.  Maintains historical records by documenting system software changes and revisions.  Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions.  Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.  Controls access to system by monitoring program usage.  Ensures operation of equipment by following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.  Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.  Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.  Assist with an electronic circuit design, documentation and testing.  Assist with design and modification of mechanical parts and assemblies.  Assist with building project management structure.  Be able to create BOM’s for assemblies and manage product inventory.  Be well organized, professional, punctual, and diligent and have a strong work ethic.
