Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

Now I want to preface this by saying that I will not spoil anything. Metal Gear games are half the incredible story, and half the gameplay. To ruin half the game for you would suck. I've been playing the PS2 version (original). If you guys want to play this, I heavily recommend you to play either the Subsistence re-release or the HD port on the PS3 or Xbox 360. This is due to the original game having a fixed camera despite the game being largely open.

Anyway, on to the fun stuff. I've been really appreciating how this game plays. The camo index allows for some of the most stealth based gameplay in the entire series, and really encourages you to not kill enemies. It's also very fun to mess around with enemies to try and sneak past, ie knocking on walls and throwing shit to distract them. The gun play is amazing (almost intentionally very bloody to further demonstrate the no violence themes) although I will like to say that I prefer being stealthy and not engaging the enemy. The controls are fine (for the most part) but one thing that really aggravates me is when you try and stand from a crawl. In prior games Snake instantly stood up but here you have to press the button twice which always fucks with me.
