Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition

Dying Light is a great zombie game and a great parkour game. Running around Harran is really fluid and the more agility skills I obtain the better it gets.

The melee system is better than Dead Island but not perfect. Killing zombies early on is pretty tough with your really crappy weapons, and you are encouraged to avoid rather than confront. The issue I have the the combat system is that human enemy are stupid hard. The system is really built around the struggle of fighting this undead creature that takes awhile to defeat and it's great for that. The issue lies with other people. Human enemies are just as damage spongy as zombies which really pulls you out of the game. The best way to deal with humans is to just shoot them. The other problem I have with the combat system is with a certain combination of skills. There's a skill which allows you to run into an enemy and knock them over. Couple this with another skill which allows you to instantly kill an enemy that's on the ground and you have a recipe to basically negate any threat with a zombie 1v1. This is really silly because a huge factor of surviving early on in the game is the avoidance of zombies and the struggle to fight back if you get caught by one. The two skills together completely remove all tension from a confrontation with a Biter. But there are other kinds of zombies that actually pose threats 1v1 like Demolishers and other bigger types of infected. Sadly the finisher skill also
