Depends what your demographics are like. If you fit the profile of what most schools want, and you grab a CELTA, then you'll have access to the major chains. They're where you want to start in any case really, so that you can get used to the country and also have some sort of reference point for what work conditions are like in Vietnam.

could I expect when I push that I have my master’s?

Lack of experience supersedes your qualification. The sort of places that would pay more are also the sort of places that will just as readily note that you're completely untested in Vietnam.

Some places might be willing to pretend they're paying you more though.
