[WEEKLY THREAD] Fail Friday - Because being awesome always comes at a price...

This is 1/3rd fail, 1/3rd funny, 1/3rd bodies and brains are weird.

After 2 years of OTF, and a toe in the water at CrossFit...my body NOR my brain know how to take rests. Turns out, resting is a really important part of powerlifting. My coach has taken to literally just running a timer on his phone and turning it for me to watch, otherwise, I just take 3 breaths and I'm like...cool, okay, let's go. I swear to god time moves slower with that damn timer running.

He's cracking up because you can literally watch me get uncomfortable and twitchy, and it progresses each time.

On the 4x4 at 90% of my bench, I don't really need the full 2 minutes. On squat I do, but it backfires because then I start to get into my own head. If my strength could catch up to my weird chonky conditioning, where I'm actually using that rest to recovery and not just be bored, that would be really cool.
