[WEEKLY THREAD] Fail Friday - Because being awesome always comes at a price...

More of a rant then a fail...but I am getting so tired of people commenting on what I eat and my weight loss goals.

Last night I went out for dinner with my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day and we went to a fairly relaxed Japanese restaurant we’ve been wanting to try. Anyway I get full pretty quickly and over the last two years I’ve got used to swapping carbs for just vegetables. My meals now usually just contain meat/soy supplement, vegetables and egg. So the menu is full of ramen and rice dishes which I know will be too much for me / be too many calories that I want to take in as I’m treating myself to alcohol that night.

So I settle on a grilled chicken dish and we agree to share some dumplings. I order the chicken and the waitress points out it only comes on its own with a little salad. I tell her that’s fine and my boyfriend is suddenly sat there looking as if I just told the waitress I’d like a boiled infant for my dinner.

She leaves and he keeps telling me it’s a really weird order but it really isn’t. I knew that, the dumplings mixed with the beer we were enjoying would fill me up fast, and I just wanted something light to eat.

The annoying thing is he’s seen what I eat for the last two years and knows I no longer eat carbs. So I don’t understand why he had to start pointing things out?
