Not really sure where you're getting this from. The ones I hear venting are in positions where they are being treated terribly but need to stay. There are a number of posts about PIs being outright disrespectful and mean. Why? Because they can, and it's a power play. I've also seen multiple posts about this happening with scribes, too - the one that comes to mind is a time when the doctor couldn't be bothered to learn the person's name and would just shout out: Scribe!

I would be careful about making judgments without knowing the full situation. A lot of abuse happens when you're the lowest person on the totem pole. If anything, I hope people don't become embittered and use their experiences as a reminder of what not to become.
