Weekly "What is my religion?" discussion

This probably sounds messy, but what isn't? I feel like my views on religion are a bit loose.

My core belief is whatever god, gods, power that people (or me) have belief and faith in, that the main idea of them is to be what they believe to be a good person. Ultimately, our job, and my job, is to try to be the best I can be. Maybe we do things wrong, but the pure intention to be a good person is what is most important. To help others when they need help, to take care of our own bodies. To be as kind to people and animals as possible, given our own health and the cultures we reside in.

I believe that all deities are essentially guides to show us how to live equally. To learn from any flaws they might have, and to take the positive from that.

I've found myself drawn to Buddhism and Bahai, but I have major anxiety around talking about religion. Even here.

I was raised Catholic but my family wasn't very strict about it. I never was confirmed or anything.

I'm really horrible at explaining things so if anyone has questions, please feel free to ask!
