'Weight' of a general vs rage boost

Your arguement justifies why Shin's generation is able to overcome foes in battle that are stronger than them and i agree. However "powering up mid battle" due to their ambition does not justify how Shin and Kouyoku powered up. Shin and Kouyoku powered up because they lost a mentor figure and they turned that emotion into rage which triggered the power up. If Shin had fought Houken before Duke Hyou died he would have got wrecked and likewise with Kouyoku and Tou. This is why i called it a 'rage' boost as it was just a spur in the moment and not permanent. I think you misunderstood my problem i am not against 'rage' triggering a power up but there comes a point where your opponent is just too strong of an enemy that can't(and shouldn't) be equaled or surpassed by simple rage. In regards to Tou vs Kouyoku, you say that Kouyoku has not attained "weight' yet so his way of overcoming his foes is through surpassing his limits and i agree. However there is a difference Kouyoku's ambition is to be a GGOH while Tou is a GGOH on the level of Ouki. I am sorry but the only people who should stalemate someone of that calibre is someone on his level. When it comes to Shin v Houken Shin had been fighting for 8(or 7 days) straight with no rest and Houken was ready to go. Although he lost an arm Shin still shouldn't have been able to accomplish more that a GGOH( Duke Hyou) by sheer willpower alone, that makes no sense imo.
