Weighting Gear Set Drops 9 to 1 in Certain Game Activities is not "Generous". This is restrictive and not fun.

They should just make it so you can play whatever mode you like and still have close to the same chance for different drops. So if you spend 1 hour in any mode you would still have close to the same chance of loot drops.

The difference would then be how fast you can clear it, how difficult it is and how lucky you are. So if two players with the same "luck" plays on the same difficulty, but one of the players can clear one more thing, he would then have the advantage. But both players would be able to get all the different gear drops in whatever game mode they choose. You shouldn't be forced to spend an enternity in a game mode you hate just to get the cool new gear set you want.

Massive could then make "daily and weekly challenges" to give players an incentive to try other game modes. Just like they do now with incursions(i'm talking good loot drops, not crap stuff like 1 division tech, a bit more xp or a few extra bird bucks). Pretty much every The Division player i know likes to play different modes, but they hae being forced to spend too much time on modes they don't like.

I hate the incursions. I think they are boring as fuck. But i like playing them one or two times a week. Why should i be forced to play them more if i don't want to. The same about the DZ and so on.

They should also give us a possibility to chance the loot we don't want into other stuff than credits or mats. Selling, buying and crafting is boring. I would rather have the chance to tub my stuff into caches i can open.

Some examples. Why not give me a cache with a guaranteed 268 gear of the set i choose if i turn in ten 268 gear sets to a vendor. It would still be random how good it was, but at least i would have a chance for som progress instead of selling shit over and over again.

Or like twenty 240 set gears would give me a cache with a 268 gear set.

Basically you trade in a lot of lower quality gear to get a random cache with better gear. Just like when you convert crafting materials. They have the same system in games like Borderlands and Diablo

Well this rant ended up being long, but i just hate The Divisions loot system. It's pretty much one of the worst in modern gaming. Just fucking awful in a loot based game.
