Yeah I’m far from emotionally perfect here. I do have a bad habit of compartmentalizing my issues. I am obsessive with making sure I don’t make anyone around me uncomfortable and that is a big part of why I purge. And I also have general mixed feelings about the role social media plays in my life. I try to keep as much private as possible. Could there be a tactful way to ask my partner about their relationship/why they’re no longer friends? I think I also feel funky about the disconnect between their past and non-future. Like, why are they not friends now, especially if their relationship ended seemingly so well that these pictures are a fixture to her identity?
