Weird transaction - looking for regular buyers advice..

I can only tell my story as a seller. I changed a delivery setting for my country last week. Apparently that meant to Etsy that all my delivery times should be half what they are supposed to be and I had no idea it happened. Also it made half my listings not have delivery price set because on half my listings it was removed, this meant no one could buy them!

I sold items and now am having to contact them all including ones I have and ones haven’t sent yet and tell them what happened and HOPE they understand and don’t leave me horrible feedback that could ruin my shop.

The anxiety I have experienced having to contact these people today has been horrible and iv had to do it spread over the day so I don’t freak out. I can imagine someone else really freaking out at having to communicate a mistake or something and take the easy way with a refund.

I say take your money, don’t leave feedback and move forward by buying from another seller who I’m sure you won’t have the same experience with.

That’s the risk of buying things online. It’s happened to me as a buyer as well.

It’s a nerve wrecking thing putting your handmade items into the world and sometimes people aren’t cut out for it. I doubt myself sometimes!
